A five-year-old boy was discovered carrying 22 packs of crack cocaine in a sandwich bag at a Philadelphia preschool earlier this week.

The bag was confiscated by an adult at St. Cyprian’s Children Center, who proceeded to call the police. The school is located in the high-crime area of Cobbs Creek. (RELATED: 6,000 Convictions Will Likely Be Thrown Away Because Chemist ‘Smoked Crack Every Day’)

None of the drugs were passed out and nobody is believed to have been injured. The boy is claiming that his father gave him the bag and told him not to take it out of his pocket, sources reportedly told CBS3 in Philadelphia.

The Archdiocese of Philadelphia released a statement thanking police and promising to fully cooperate with the investigation:

Staff and administration from the Children’s Center have cooperated fully with police during the course of their investigative work throughout the day and will continue to do so. Information regarding this matter was communicated to all families served by the Children’s Center earlier today. We are grateful to the Philadelphia Police Department for their swift response and their ongoing partnership with us in maintaining safe environments for the children and young people entrusted to the care of the Church and her various ministries.
