Kim Kardashian’s Latest Move Shows Her Dedication To Prison Reform
Kim Kardashian West seems like she’s fully committing to prison reform.
The reality star and beauty mogul, 38, reportedly visited the San Quentin prison in Northern California where death row inmate Kevin Cooper is located.
It’s not clear if Kim visited Cooper during her stop, but she did spend several hours at the facility, met with prison staff and spoke with several inmates. (RELATED: Unsurprisingly, Kim Kardashian Was Naked When President Trump Called Her)

This seems like a growing trend at this point. Kim worked tirelessly to commute Alice Marie Johnson’s sentence (who was serving life in prison for drug trafficking) earlier this year. The case worked its way all the way up to the White House, with President Trump eventually granting Johnson clemency.

For what it’s worth, Kim has spoken on multiple occasions with California governor Jerry Brown about Kevin Cooper. It’s still not clear what exactly she’s asked him to look into.
Kevin Cooper has been on death row for decades. He was convicted of four murders that took place in 1983 but claims he was framed, with more prominent politicians suggesting he may have been.
Both California Democratic Sens. Kamala Harris and Dianne Feinstein have called for new DNA testing in his case, claiming that his case “has never been fully and fairly evaluated.”
