Tucker And Dana Loesch Question If It’s Too Late To Find Common Ground With Democrats

Conservative talk radio host Dana Loesch and Fox News host Tucker Carlson wondered if it is still possible to have conversations with Democrats after the ramped up rhetoric and attacks on conservatives on the latter’s show Wednesday night.

WATCH:

Loesch began, “The thing though that I keep hearing so much so often from individuals who are on the left is a way to justify this, they position their defense of Antifa or some of these mobs, and that’s what they were, mobs, chasing the Cruzes out of a restaurant and mobs that are doxxing Republican senators and their families.”

Loesch was discussing multiple examples of the attacks committed by people on the left including the Ted Cruz and his wife being chased out of D.C. restaurant and a Democrat staffer being accused of doxxing Republican senators.

“We’re on the cusp of something horrible. There are still widely respected people in this country. I don’t see my job as ginning up partisan rage and getting people to act out in violence,” Carlson responded. “That’s a totally irresponsible thing to do. Where are the people on the left who are making that — I mean there are responsible people on the left. Why are they cowardly and can’t speak up now?”

“I think Heidi Heitkamp is one of those. She condemned Hillary Clinton when Hillary Clinton said essentially that they’re not going to be civil so long as they don’t have power,” she continued. “But there needs to be more like Heidi Heitkamp, but at the same time though I kind of wonder if it’s not too late. I sincerely hope it’s not. I hope we can get back to a place where we can exchange ideas.”

As Loesch mentioned, North Dakota Senator Heitkamp, condemned the former Secretary of State’s civility comments, in which she said that civility cannot be achieved when a political party “wants to destroy what you stand for, what you care about.”
